Employability Budget, stap naar Talent 2.0

Zoals eerder op deze blog aangegeven is employability naar onze overtuiging een van de centrale thema’s bij loopbaanontwikkeling. Een Talent 2.0 investeert in zijn/haar employability teneinde zicht op interessant werk te kunnen behouden. De investeringen zullen deels door werkgevers gefinancierd worden. Ook zij hebben groot belang bij medewerkers die inzetbaar zijn en blijven op de interne en externe arbeidsmarkt.

In sommige CAO’s worden ook al afspraken gemaakt inzake employabity. Hierbij een voorbeeld dat benut kan worden om vergelijkbare afspraken te maken.

Employability budget
1. De werkgever heeft een Studieregeling die is opgenomen in de HR Wegwijzer! In deze regeling is per studiecategorie aangegeven welke
opleidingen en opleidingskosten door de werkgever worden vergoed. Tevens is opgenomen wanneer de werknemer recht heeft op doorbetaling voor studieuren of vervangende vrije tijd.
2. Naast de mogelijkheid van het volgen van een opleiding conform de Studieregeling stelt de werkgever met ingang van 1 januari 2010 een Employability Budget van € 750,– beschikbaar. Dit budget wordt eens per drie jaar ter beschikking gesteld aan de werknemer die tenminste 3 jaar in dienst is van de werkgever.
3. De werknemer die na januari van enig jaar een dienstverband van 3 jaar bereikt, ontvangt het Employability Budget in januari van het daarop volgende kalenderjaar.
4. De werknemer mag het Employability Budget van € 750,– binnen 3 jaar na toekenning besteden aan een opleiding, loopbaanscan- en/of assessment waarmee zijn employability wordt bevorderd, waarna het (dan resterende gedeelte van het) Employability Budget aan het einde van de periode van 3 jaar komt te vervallen. Het Employability Budget is niet inwisselbaar voor geld.
5. Voor de kosten van een opleiding, loopbaanscan- en/of assessment gevolgd in het kader van het Employability Budget geldt geen terugbetalingregeling.
